Project Planning and Execution

Lemu Harmony will deploy initiatives in Africa, such as education, skills development, community development, and market research, as projects tailored to the needs of your company. We collaborate with companies to assemble project teams that include local NGOs, experts, schools, municipalities, and other stakeholders. In the selection process, we leverage an extensive network, including governmental agencies, to provide comprehensive support for the success of the project.

Project themes, content, and schedules are determined based on detailed discussions with our corporate clients. We plan site visits and progress report meetings as needed to prioritize transparency and sharing of information. Furthermore, we handle coordination, negotiations, progress tracking, project oversight, and results reporting consistently across the entire project. If required, we also develop tailored educational materials and customized solutions for the project.

We are committed to offering flexible and effective project proposals that align with our clients' needs and objectives. Please feel free to reach out to us with any inquiries.

Project Introduction

"Our Future is Now / Notre Avenir, C'est Maintenant" Nansewe NGO (Cotonou, Benin)

In July 2023, we had the opportunity to meet Mr. Wilfrid Degbo, a native of Benin, through the "African-Style French Language Class" organized by the Japanese NPO media "ganas." Alongside teaching French at a local elementary school, Mr. Will has founded Nansewe NGO, where he imparts French, the official language, with a blend of local languages to approximately 200 children from impoverished families in the Kpankpan district. His academic background in English and psychology allows for effective communication in English with us, fostering a deep understanding of social education.

Upon initiating the project with Lemu Harmony, Mr. Will played a significant role in securing classrooms, providing explanations and obtaining consent for participation, procuring stationery, and even contributing to the project's naming.

Our social education program, which commenced in December 2023, currently offers classes four times a month. Utilizing the teaching manual and materials provided by Lemu Harmony, Mr. Will instructs the children and collaborates with us weekly to monitor progress online. Following each class, Mr. Will shares photos and video messages from the children. Participants eagerly anticipate each session of the program, expressing gratitude for the guidance they receive towards the right path in life.

The first half of the 20-class curriculum primarily focuses on enriching the children's inner well-being and spirituality. In the latter half, the classes broaden the children's perspectives, introducing topics related to global cultures, cutting-edge technologies, and future occupations, aiming to nurture their dreams and aspirations.

If you are interested in our social education initiative, please feel free to reach out to us.

Nansewe NGO has been offering supplementary French classes.

Testimony

In 2011, Lemu Harmony's founder, Mikako, volunteered with the NGO BERUDA in the village of Belo, Cameroon. As a volunteer, she conducted lectures on environmental conservation, renewable energy, and electric vehicles for local middle and high school students. Mr. Jude and Mr. Chi, who were students in those classes, provided the following comments. Based on their comments, we have high hopes that Lemu Harmony's social education will bring fresh surprises and hope to the children of Africa in the future.

I still remember her lessons very well. It was the first time I heard about electric cars and renewable energy. I became particularly interested in renewable energy. What impressed me the most was when she talked about wind energy and how the spinning white blades are used to generate energy. Climate change is happening in our daily lives, and it has significantly altered the seasons for farming. It's important to have more lessons about climate change to explain the situation to young people. In off-grid villages where electricity doesn't reach through power lines, most people are aware of solar energy. And as for electric cars, they are becoming a reality in some African countries. Children will be amazed to learn that there are cars that don't use fuel.

(Mr. Jude Njuakom, Senior Supervisor / Inspector at Vallis Group Ltd. , Douala, Cameroon)

As a high school student at the time, I was incredibly curious about events in the new world, and I was particularly amazed to learn that my small actions could impact the environment. When I received explanations about innovative technologies like electric cars, I felt excitement and hope. Back then, I had only seen analog TVs, so I was extremely surprised when she showed us multiple images on a laptop computer. I remember proudly telling my friends and family about it. Today, I am a chemistry teacher in two secondary schools, and I believe that teaching soft skills like leadership alongside science and technology is essential for nurturing future leaders.

(Mr. Chi Kelvin Chia, Chemistry Teacher at Pi and Ju Anglo-Saxon International College, Yaounde and Government Bilingual High School Kumbo, Bamenda, Cameroon)
